Phuoc Tich Ancient Village

Located on the bank of O Lau river, Phuoc Tich village, Phong Dien commune attracts many people come here. Phuoc Tich is far about 30 kilometers from center of Hue city to the North; the village has famous for pottery. Now, tourists from whole nation come to Phuoc Tich in order to contemplate 'ruong' houses with 500 years old. People not only know the trail of Champa ancient pottery - kiln is preserved by local peple but also enjoy the beautiful nature.

Phu Cam Conical Hat

Phu Cam trade village is traditional handicraft village in Hue. One of the famous places of 'non' – conical hat profession over the years is the Phu Cam village. Phu Cam village is also known as the Phuoc Vinh precinct that is located in the heart of Hue city, southern part of An Cuu River. Since the seventeenth century, a group of parishioners in Phu Cam was formed by the French priest who established priest in 1680. This place developed 'non' trade village and residents depends on its income.

Sinh Traditional Village

Sinh village belongs to Phu Mau commune, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province, Sinh village painting often serves for worship of local people. SInh village is located oppose to Thanh Ha river - one of the most famous river of Lords, it is also called 'Pho Lo'. This is also the cultural centre. Sung Hoa pagoda of the village is known one of the biggest Lord mansions of Hoa Chau.

Con Rang

Con Rang is one of the biggest graves of Sa Huynh culture since about 2500 yeas ago. In 1987, teacher and students of Hue scientific university came to Con Rang and found 3 jars with big size along with pottery relic, jewelry. Up to now, archaeologist excavated 217 graves, distributed in cluster, triangle and pentagon. Con Rang grave has some types: cylindrical shape, ovoid shape and spherical shape. The jars were decorated with many patterns. In general, Con Rang grave was not complied with any rules.

Tam Giang Lagoon

Tam Giang lagoon has 24 kilometers length with an area of 52 square kilometers, Phong Dien, Quang Dien, Huong Tra, Thua Thien Hue. Stemming from Thuan An harbor, small boat sweeps on O Lau river along the length of the lagoon. More than 15 kilometers, fields and bridges along lagoon, we come to Thai Duong Ha village. After 30 minutes, the boat comes to island on the lagoon; there has Thai Duong ancient village.

Ngu Binh Mountain

Bach Ma National Park

Bach Ma national park was established on July 15th 1991 with the natural area of 22.031 hectares. The climate here has similar with Da Lat, Sa Pa, Tam Dao; however, Bach Ma is near to the beach so that temperature in the winter is not under 40C and the highest temperature in the summer is not excess 260C. The climate of Bach Ma is appreciated as one of the most comfortable climate zone in the range of Indochina mountains.

In Hue, there has hundred of famous ancient pagodas, each pagoda has special characteristics, some pagoda associated with legend of mysterious anecdote, Tu Hieu is one of the most different from others one. Tu Hieu is located among the immense pine forest belongs to the range of Duong Xuan mountain, Thuy Xuan commune, Hue city. The pagoda was established in 1842, initiatively, it had the name 'An Duong'. In 1843, Nhat Dinh found this place and built it to become big pagoda.

Dieu De Pagoda

Dieu De pagoda belongs to Phu Cat ward, Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province. Dieu De is the third pagoda that Thieu Tri King considered as one of 20 famous landscape of Hue ancient capital. The place was built by Thieu Tri King with big scale in the 1842, 1844. It was built by King Thieu Tri in 1844 on the platform (5,000m2) of his old residence, where he was born in 1807.

Thien Mu Pagoda

According to legend, Nguyen Hoang protected Thuan Hoa, he prepared for promoting his fortune of Nguyen. When you walked along Huong River, he saw small hill with the shape as a dragon. Hue museum of royal fine arts is located inside Long An palace. This is the earliest museum established in Hue with the first name 'Musee' Khai Dinh'. Precinct of museum has an area of 6.330m2; the main zone is in the middle of museum with an area of 1.185 m2 and storage, garden… Long An is situated in Bao Dinh palace established in 1845 Bac Ngu Ha. Gia Long Tomb

Gia Long tomb is situated on the big hill. Thien Tho mount creates a natural screen in the font of the tomb and behind are 7 hills like natural defenses. On the left, there has 14 peaks as 'left blue dragon' and on the right, there has 'right white tigers'.

Duc Duc Tomb

Among the tombs of Hue, Du Duc tomb is simpler than other one but it is the modest architecture. It has a surface of 3,445 square meters. Inside, there have no temple or stone statues. The entrance is a triple gate made of brick.

Tu Duc Tomb

Tu Duc tomb is situated in a valley in Duong Xuan Thuong village. It is one of the most beautiful tombs of royal architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty. The tomb is far about 8 kilometers form the Hue and lies near the pine forest. It was built in December 1864 and accomplished in 1867. The surrounding wall inside the tomb has 12 hectares width and interior tomb has nearly 50 constructions with various levels. All constructions have the word 'Khiem' in their name. Tu Duc tomb is divided into two parts.

Minh Mang Tomb

This tomb is far about 12 kilometers from Hue, on the Cam Ke mount and on the west bank of the Huong River. The construction began in September 1840. While the tomb had been building, Minh Mang was sick and passed away in January 1841. King Thieu Tri continued completing the tomb according to his father’s plans. And it was accomplished in 1843.

Thieu Tri Tomb

Thieu Tri tomb is located on Chu Chanh village, Thuy Bang commune and it is far about 8 kilometers from the city. Thieu Tri came to the throne for seven years; he was sick and passed away on November 4th 1847 (at the age of 41). The King Thieu Tri thought that his death would not waste too much labor and property so that he did not built his tomb.

Hue Citadel

Hue capital citadel was built under the reign of King Gia Long and King Minh Mang from the summer in 1805 to 1832. The scheme Hue citadel lasted 2 years from 1803 to 1804. Compare with Phu Xuan citadel, Hue capital citadel was expanded larger. Base on the feng shui and Ying and Yang...the architect designed the citadel facing the South.

The nine Tripod Cauldrons of Nguyen Dynasty

The nine tripod cauldrons were placed in the The Mieu yard. Nine cauldrons were made from in the end of 1835 to the beginning of 1837. On March 4th 1837, the court inaugurated nine cauldrons under the direct mandate of King Minh Mang. 'Cuu Dinh'- the nine tripod cauldrons presents the wish about everlasting existence of Nguyen dynasty and prosperous country. All wishes are clearly represented in each name and carved patterns on each cauldron.

Ky Dai

Behind the Ky Dai is palace - one of the overall structures belongs to Hue ancient architecture complex. Ky Dai was built in the reign of 6th Gia Long (1807).
